You wanna play a game
A game without shame
And game that's not the same
As any other game you've ever played
No one else around but you and me
Lets play in the shadow of a tall oak tree
No one else but you and me
Is the only way that you could ever see
The simple game of poetry
Edgar Allen Poe was not a mystery
But was a hero to many including me
An incredible poet and a tortured soul
His talent filling a bottomless bowl
An eye opening person he was
I'm inspired by his work simply because
His life similar to mine
A love life simply undefined
A twisted individual he was
Lost deep within his own soul
Dependent on the mind
To bring to life all his wonderful ideas
Poetry lives in every single person
Deep in everyone with an internal fight
In everyone who refuses to walk towards the light
Who knows they are meant for a greater purpose in live
So remembrance of the man himself
Is all he could have ever hoped for
And as for me I just hope you never forget
