A moment without you is an eternity of sadness
My life without your presence can hardly be worthwhile

I’ve always believed that you will stay
That the love we share can never go astray
Yet there are these moments when I fear you’ll go away
And there’s nothing I can do but dread the coming of that day

And it broke my heart when it finally came
How it tore my soul as I slowly go insane
Alone and afraid I put myself to shame
As I tearfully walk under the heavy pouring rain

But the GODS must have been watching for they sent a helping hand
For soon the heavens brightened as fortune’s face broke to a smile

And alas back in my arms you mend my broken heart
As that fleeting dreadful moment in our lives have come to pass
Again you made that promise that we will never part
I knew then on that sweet moment I have nothing more to ask

So now I know that you are my only love
That no matter what happens I am the one you’ll have
And though there are those moments when life puts us to test
I’ll trust in our true love and aim only for the best

Each moment with you is an eternity of gladness
My life with your presence can only be worthwhile
