True Love Poem by Brian Msekiwa

True Love

Only true love can heal a broken heart
And Only it can heal the cut
Left by the loveless lust
Only true love can bring joy and trust
If it's true and only if, can it make a smile last

Yes true love is the chemistry between us
But it doesn't need experimenting apparatus
Me plus you is a math that doesn't need abacus
But the geometry between our hearts is the real calculus

Only true love does not ask why or what
It's magical right from the start
It's forgiving and does not hold on to the past
It fuses two hearts together and impossible to set apart

Makes you spin out of control you might need a compass
When it affects you, it leaves you blind like a virus
It's dangerous, Romeo and Juliet, yet delicious

That's true love
