His soul was shattered
And heart was broken
In the shadow, never spoken
Alone he wandered
Trying to find
His other side
A soul like mine
Finding her would mean completion
But without would bring damnation
The pain he felt would be disdained
Taking a chance or cheating fate
This Burden so demands
An answer to be found
I love her, and that is how
I will ask her, here and now
Does she care for me? I ponder
Loving her my hearts a blunder
Feelings released on pen and paper
Will be spoken with voice unhindered.
