Truth Poem by I, Mongoose

Truth

Rating: 3.3

We are dying of thirst
At a well in the desert,
With a torn rope
And shattered pale.
Jump in and drink,
Though there's no escape.
Remain without,
And succumb to the barren heat.
Death is waiting.
