Truth Or Dare - Poem by Arta Krasniqi

When I was a little girl
Life challenged me
Whispered 'truth or dare? '
And I, knowing so little about the truth
Said: Dare!

This is another small poem that contains a large truth. At the very end when you wrote that as a child you knew so
little about truth, you spontaneously said DARE, I was totally convinced by that childhood memory. The naivete,
the simplicity and lack of guile in children swept through me. It's reassuring to feel that connection to childhood.
The brevity of the poem is wonderful; additional words would have spoiled its purity.
