Here I sit
Staring
Daring myself
To admit for once
What I have done
To all who know nothing
Yet I can not hide from me

I am me just as you see
And as you see me
Is as I shall be
For all I can be
Is me

I look ahead
And see behind
Try to erase
Thoughts in my mind
That brought me here
That brought this fear
Controlling my life
I can't explain it
And you can not know
Only with these words
Can I try to show
Internal strife tearing
My soul I'm bearing
To strangers To friends
Hoping once again
To breathe
