Tsunami - Poem by Josh Alfred

Tsunami -

The great wave came crashing in
Taking with it, all within

Waves rolling over
Like an aching thunder
The waves crash upon the shores
Like a dreadful wind
Blowing open all the doors.

The faces of the damned
Scream the screams of man
As the waves washed them all away
Had they left and runaway
They'd still die, that dying day.

A chase as this, when water ran
From the quake, that had began
To raise the waves higher yet
And lay waste, to islands met.

No a soul was to be saved
As water buried them in their liquid graves.
