Turkish Girl Poem by William Cavanagh

Turkish Girl

Rating: 5.0

T’s my solemn sworn duty
To speak of nature’s beauty

No one, is aptly able to deny
The beauty of a bright blue sky

And, never could I truly say
I dislike the month of May

But yet, the way by which I see
Women are much prettier to me

The English adjective allure
Was made for the Turkish girl

Wholesome, pretty, precious
Dark and beautifully delicious

Her smile is far above the rest
From Bangladesh to Budapest
