Twenty Days To Christmas In 2005 A.D. Poem by Bill Grace

Twenty Days To Christmas In 2005 A.D.

Across the green manicured lawns
With white light deer
Through the thermal glass
Past the heavy brocade Santa
(another ever elegant product of China)
In a silence of a house
That would rival any cathedral
I heard the distant baby cry
So clear even the dog looked up with apprehension
And well he should.
