Twisted Vains Poem by Micah Clausen

Twisted Vains

Blood gushing out of twisted vains,
memories tortuous drive me insane.
Darkness dwells inside my heart
and lonely days betray my soul.
Forgotten thoughts of painful things
and I lay amongst my beautiful dreams.
Never hold dear what yearns to be free,
all it brings is heartbreak... Misery...
Never forget the truth of friends,
it always comes back to death in the end.
Solitude brings sorrowed relief,
again for a life not found.
