Two Heart Beats Poem by Rob Nichols

Two Heart Beats

Enjoying the beauy of a sunsets hue
A comfortable silence adored
Just the presence of company
Is enough of a reward

A bonded trust formed
Secret desires shared
No hidden agendas
Gently understanding with care

Fears of falling apart
Support to carry through
A shoulder to lean on
An unspoken, bonded truth

Happiness thats contagious
A smile that melts a heart
Missing every little moment
Starving when apart

A sensual touch
Enough to make one weak
Pleasures turn to desires
Pillow talk between the sheets

A kiss under the moon light
Amongst a thousand stars
Romance that leaves you breathless
Only true love can take it this far

Two hearts beat to the sound of love
This might just take some time
As long as these hearts continue to beat
Only true love is what they eventually find
