Two Kings Poem by Ryan Lee Morris

Two Kings

Two Kings, ruling two nations.
One, he rules with an iron fist.
The other, he rules with an open hand.
One King with no self control,
He controls his subjects.
Placing them in submission
Showing no regard for others,
He is feared and hated,
He is not respected.
The other, in complete control of himself.
His subjects submit willingly.
He shows regard for all.
He is adored and loved.
Respected by all.
One nation is divided.
One stands together.
One nation, falling apart from the outside, in.
One nation strengthening from the inside, out.
One King has riches and gold.
The other has it all.
It is neither wealth nor power that makes a King.
It is his subjects.
The King's power must be within,
Or his nation will go without.
