Two See Bee I Poem by Max McGovern

Two See Bee I

Two see be I.
Toothpicking and timeless
thimbline weaving of thought,
Thrashed and strung out,
Thumbed and dumbed down
And down those shots you bought.

Staring up and oceans of eyesight
Wishy wash away.
Responsibility to the actions
And cats aren’t cool with play.
Rule with rival tools and faction
Stood and fell away.
Sat back down and sank through couch
Right to the very ground.
Jacket melds with berry welds.
Zippers too, confound
And pockets cannot be traced.
There was a toothpick
Whose guts and workings
Flowed around my hand like wine.
Demonstrating the law of fluid dynamics
Spent and flooded wrapped like twine
Spending lazy acid afternoons in hammocks.

Itchy buttocks and brilliant minds.
Neon flashes and spirit signs.
Energy healers and hands hovering high on low.
Low vibrations made in haste
And healed in patience, a pittance
For the puppy poured and snored
Asleep and loved.

Split visionary turf
Tremble with the treble
Level out and go.
Left the place we started at
And bubbled up fo’ mo.
Tickle took a tiny rip
From Jimbo’s Clinton snow.
Up and down and all around
The ice and nosy row.
