Un-Balanced Poem by Annie Mark

Un-Balanced

When you ride on fear, and walk on glass
And each little crack in the road is a line of sorrow
That you try and avoid
And you spend so much time trying to stop thinking
Of the things you would rather forget
...that is true hell.

when you get an unexpected call from a friend
And look out the window and see the oriole flashing its wing
Feeling the breeze from the west rustling the peepul leaves
And hear the children as the run to school
the things that you wish would fill your mind always
....these are the things that balance
the two ends of life
