the hands of fate have twisted again
altered the love i was to send
he saw me with a different eye
he waved as he said a tear full goodbye
my feelings for him will never go unseen
to be hidden away like a forgotten dream
he'll never know as i clouded my eyes
i vow forever to keep this disguise
i never open my heart, he can never see
exactly what he means to me
i smile an wave as rain falls from above
now i know the meaning of inconditional love
