Unattainable Poem by Stacy Brown

Never fall in love with the unattainable.
Rarely chase that dream,
it will always be illusive
and just out of reach.
Never crave things that cannot crave you back.
You will always just end up
wanting more then they have.
They will come,
they will go and sometimes,
they'll touch your mind in places
even your soul dares not to go.
You will crave the feeling over and over again
but you must remember they are unattainable,
the mirage in the distance of lost hope.
All may feel well,
somethings even perfect
because thats what you would expect
from something you cannot deny.
Something your body craves.
I warn you fair soul.
Do not fall in love with the unattainable..
you'll only end up with a broken heart.
