Unbroken Poem by Feroze Varun Gandhi

Unbroken

I woke up to the
The rising of the hum
The sky a disappointed blue
I've been so far away at times
My heart a lost prophet
An alien sunrise
Uncovering the soundless past
It feels so strange
On cold ground
Outside of you
the sky dips so low
Like a tragic offering
In the midst of surrender
To level our memories
I offer you my silence
As an oath
The past: a prayer in darkness
The past: my unbroken claim on you.
