Under A Rock Poem by Robert Beksinski

Under A Rock

I’m so glad I found you

Where have you been hiding

All this time I been looking

You weren’t there and I wasn’t here

But now I can finally stare

Into your emerald green eyes

And feel complete and unique

Like a kiss on the cheek

When you whisper innocent little secrets

The words “I Love You” escape your mouth

And you say “Where have you been all my life”

Just flowing in a carefree wind

Searching for the sun

Going too fast through the clouds

But I got here, I made it

And I’m never going to leave
