Une Fille Poem by Mohammad Saif

Une Fille

"Cry not, weep no more."

Said they bidding their daughter adieu.

The sun shone neither dim nor bright,

In the desolate place stood the bride, waiting

Weeping loud as she recalled the last night

Which filled her and everyone with terror;

Cried she, "je ne peux pas vivre sans mon ami."
