We all smile, and dance, and sing in the shower
Why must we all be judgeful and cower?
A slight bit a luck, and courage be blamed,
Should we be careful of ego when rising to fame?
We all sharpen our wits to loosen our tongues,
Why then do we curse each other for fun?
As if it is a game or a toy to project how you feel.
Why do we play victim; murder and steal?
We all feel secure in our houses with fence,
Why must we focus on insecurities and ignore the rest?
Great wonders and joy united by; earth, wind, and sky.
Can fire be left; it burns all, eats all; leaving carbon-monoxide?
Black clouds of mourning can traverse the sky. Even the brightest light can be impossible to find.
Why do we insist on finding better lies? Why do we invest in our fantastic fabricated minds?
In a world in which we live, a world which birthed us as kids, we eat, shit, consume and die.
Why do we pretend we are higher than life? Why do we aspire to save endangered life?
We are all human, the same and very true, Our blood isn't green, purple, or obtuse,
Why do we act so abstruse to one another, yet in the comfort of our homes we traduce?
We all express love, we all fear to die, Whoever denies this is either a coward, or a lie.
Yet, why is it that no matter how hard I try, I still cannot stop the tears from my eyes?
I am Human, and I am ashamed, I am a human, yet we are all to blame,
Why do I have ego, but have no fame, why am I judgeful, yet cower?
The questions remains
I have a sharp wit, yet constantly lose my tongue, like a game of chess you lost before it's begun.
Why do I curse, Play victim and steal, why do I project my emotion, Yet lie about how I feel?
Insecurities aside, when we are naked there is nowhere to hide; Within, our worst demons reside.
Do you get burned, consumed by the fire, where you believe you should be left to die in a pyre?
Even in the darkest depths you learn to look for hope, brainwash yourself; take the reaper's crook.
Yet why as a child are you so scared, playing with fire when darkness gets near.
It's better to light a candle than to curse the night without flame. We are blinded by arrogance, but Human we shall ever remain.
