When you came along,
I wasn't even looking for anyone.
As I got to know you,
I saw you as a great friend.
You made me laugh from the heart and see things in a whole different way.
With you I can speak without wondering what you might think.
I can be me and you can be you.
You learned my weakness and encouraged me to grow.
You found my strength and challenged me to become even stronger.
You helped me to see myself as a good and beautiful person
And just when I least expected it,
You showed me exactly how I wanted to be loved.
I’ve heard of True Love but I never knew I could find it in you
I thought I would search to the deepest part of life
I searched a little but I wasn’t too patient to notice
To notice a good thing that lies on the surface
You called my name and I’m glad I answered
For this I say, “ I Love you in return”
