i can't help but sit and think
why is it this distance
this space
makes our love so weird and distinct
why we say i love you
yet lead such very different lives
why when you're hurting
in my soul i can hear your cries
you found someone
this much i know
i have someone too
but i wish it were you
and now i think she might be wrong for you
but what can i do
what can i say
when i'm so far from you
if i think about it, it just isn't right
since if we were together
you and i just might
live the most beautiful life
you and i
forever
from day till night
