To this very date bigotry still remains
Though well polished and wiped off history has left a stain
Of the hatred that has been fatally fought
We are not born racist it is unfortunately taught
Should the tone of one's skin cause violence
The bigots are afraid of their own ignorance to be honest
Equality for everyone must be sought
We are not born racist it is unfortunately taught
There were times when love one's were lost
For our rights their lifes was the ultimate cost
Freedom should be granted at birth and never bought
We are not born racist but unfortunately it is taught
When will the world we live in change?
Good ole Abe freed the slaves, but not for their financial gain
How many murderers of civil rights leaders where never caught?
We are not born racist it is unfortunately taught
