Unholy Matrimony Poem by Caroline Green

Unholy Matrimony

Rise for the Entrance!
we Honor the Fair couple
and Altered future!

year of Carriages—
Golden Youth, Innocent smiles!
happy honeymoons.

but with the Sunset,
all great things come to their ends,
Shoved out Carriage Doors.

Love's intricacies
are Pushed onto Back burners,
steadily Flaming,

while she remains a
busy little bumblebee
Masking all her Blues.
