That smile you give; inviting me in
As if I could come to you, without or within…
Nothing stands now in our way;
No boundaries, no society… There’s
Nothing constricting us but emotion now.

Three languages are known the world ‘round:
Music, mathematics, and love we’ve found.
Come, let us try to understand each other;
I can only try to communicate better… There’s
Nothing constraining us but emotion now.

I’m smiling back: hesitant as I’ve learned to be
There’s a gleam in your eyes and
A glint in your teeth…
I am anxious, and yet I take another step f’ward… There’s
Nothing to separate us but emotion now.

I can see that you want this, and I want it, too;
Can’t even decide why it is I want you
But that decision is rendered invalid by Us,
Moving together in deep bonds of trust… There’s
Nothing that can stop this, not even emotion.
