United They Stand / Divided They Fall Poem by Justin Gildow

United They Stand / Divided They Fall

Here they come
They've arrived
Here he comes
Here she comes
And the many that admire them
The many that are in awe of them
They're following them
Following closely behind

From my point of view
From my eyes
Hopefully they'll be good to
each other
Be good to one another
Be there for one another
Because of them all together
United they stand
Divided they fall

The guys are charming
The girls are lovely
Yet, they're all different
Yet, they all want to stick
together
Be there for one another

You all have my best wishes
I have to say that I admire
many of you
If not all of you

United, you all stand
You all are magical
Divided, you all will fall
And perhaps things will soon
enough be toxic

Magical wands
Enchanted apples
Lovesick cookies
Beautiful sashes
Pretty crowns

You all don't surprise me
I'm not disappointed in you all
Hopefully, you all won't mind if I
surround myself with swords

Dance the last dance
If you all do so choose to

United, you all stand
Divided, you all will fall

If I'm the last one here
The last one standing
In this kingdom
Fate will surely see me on
my way
