Unjaney nagar mun maney they - Poem by Meeraji

unjaney nagar mun maney they,
mun maney nagar unjane rahey

apni baatoo.n ki masti main
suntey rahey dill ki basti main

wohi geet jo kuch mun maney rahey
wohi raag jo sukh k bahaney rahey

raatain beetee.n, din beet gai
raat bhi naey, phir din bhi naey

murakh mun aisa hateela hay,
isey yaad wo rang purane rahey

unhooni ka jaise dheyaan na raha
honi nay usey chupke sey kaha

na wo baatain rahee.n na wo zamaney rahey,
jo rahey bhi tu baaqi fasane rahey

ab geet main rus tapkatey hain
yoon dill ki aag bujhatey hain

ab sukh ki taan sunaai di
aik duniya nai dikhlaai di

ab sukh nay badla bhaiss naya
ab dekhain gai hum dess naya

jab dill nay Raam duhaai di
ik duniya nai dikhaai di

is dess main sab unjane hain
apney bhi yahan beganey hain

peetum nay sab sey rihaai di
ik duniya nai dikhaai di

har rung naya har baat nai
ab din bhi naya aur raat nai

ab chain ki rah samjhaai di
ik duniya nai dikhaai di

ab apna mehel banain gai
ab aur k dar pe na jain gai

ik ghar ki rah samjhaai di
ik duniya nai dikhaai di
