Unmarked Grave Poem by Joshua Wyatt

Unmarked Grave

I lay this rose on your grave.
An unmarked grave.

It is a grave that no one will ever visit
A grave that no one knows exists.

As i lay this rose on your grave,
i think about all that you've taught me.

Tears fall from my eyes as i do this.
Though i know that it was your time to go.

You lived a short but amazing life.
Short and sweet as you put it.

You left the world the same way u came in,
screaming and crying.

Not the most graceful death,
but it was your own.

So I leave this rose upon your unmarked grave,
and say see you later, for i will come back.

Love this...it's emotions are real. Undeniable honesty, heart felt emotions without undue drama. There's an emptiness in this writing that is so right for the subject. Unmarked but not unknown by those who count.
