Unscrutable Conundrums Poem by Asher Proschansky

Unscrutable Conundrums

Rating: 5.0

Yeah ye
I dare not deceive
I had gotten to where
My brain could not breathe
As though a piece of data
or intense logical conundrum
was stored on each
and every neuron
And none were left
for autonomous neurological function
not just breath via respiration
but pupillary, circulatory
and digestion
but a human being
and not a computer be I
and so your marching orders
I might momentarily defy
and just stare up at
the moon in the sky
and seek to commune
with primitive primate beings
who curiously plied the sight
Of the moon lit butterfly
many years before
but still live within I!
