Unseen Enemy Of 2019 Poem by Bernard Onoja

Unseen Enemy Of 2019

Rating: 3.0

December 2019 never lost in History
In thousands they went in Wuhan
Tales of woes and pain
A hospital built in 8days

Drawing from the polluted space
Many terminated their rights to life
Few were supported with ventilators
Alas! It crossed to the West

The world economy plummeting
Worsening situations outside of Wuhan
Millions affected on its trail
Bringing great world powers to their knees

Hundreds of deaths daily, and thousands on the global arena
Hold back the enemy and stop it from invading your country
Lockdown enforced around the world
In its wake, hunger partnered with crime
