Unstretched Nights Poem by Antony Glaser

Unstretched Nights

Across the broken bairds of pace
Unstretched nights call to you
A house of dreams I built for you
She believed someday
ran naked through the flames
eyes to eyes
where catherine wheels span

Emotions staked inside
this brave show
A lonely hope I built for you
loaded dice
every stale day s a high wire
dancing on the tables
just like you
