(untitled- 10.28.04) - Poem by James Grengs

Your touch
Forgotten.
(For in distance,
Touch grows cold.)
Your smile
Grows dim.
(For the miles between
Have obscured my eyes.)
Somehow,
Despite all I have sacrificed
To distance,
Your heart remains near.
(For distance can bind
Two hearts against all.)
