Untitled Love Song Poem by Kevin Moore

Untitled Love Song

I cannot help but stare at her
When I think she looks away –
Her beauty and her grace still
Stun me, quit my heart and force
My chest to search for breath.
Her quiet strength amaze me and
Lend unto her regal disposition
Such a power as to turn the hardened
Warrior into no more than a child.
In awe I steal a glance at her ’mid
Crashing thunderstorm around
And find that all I really hear inside
My ears is laughter from her soul -
And all the flashing lightning simply
Cannot match the shining of her eyes.
I find myself awake asleep within
The magic of this dream and pray
She pull me gently, tenderly
To herself – evolving, entwining,
Embracing, encouraging – longing
To be beside her as her one and
Only Love and I steal another glance
At her to find her smiling back at me.
