Valley Of The Blinds Poem by GOODLUCK ETSEREFE

Valley Of The Blinds

Rating: 4.0

The race of life is not to the swift,
Nor the battle to the strong.
Neither bread for the wise,
Or favour to skilled men.
But time and chances happens to them all.
Through……..this path of life,
We still find reasons to smile.
While some among us,
Disco here and there,
In the club of their cry.
Begging modern day nature,
To wipe their eyes dry.
Oh………….! ! !
This valley of the blinds.
How much of your banes
Are we yet to find?
For, I know, one day……
We shall meet the sun.

In my slumber, I see……….
The city of the sun, come!
The beauty of its hills,
The meandering of its rivers,
The enchanting of its flowers,
The horizon of its blue sky,
The green of its fields,
The rays of its rising sun,
Playing upon objects with colours.
I couldn’t help, but honour, its varlour.
But yet, the fact still remains,
This darks shadows, still cast down,
Its wild look of demented brute on me.
Oh……………..!
This valley of the blinds.
How much of your banes
Shall I still find?
For I know, one day…..
I shall meet the sun.

In this darkness of the night,
Where blindness and sight,
Merge together in a common shadow.
Many people still tried to fight,
Their night, in order to get to the light.
What light? Which light?
When is it coming?
You and I know not.
However, deep! Deep! ! Down,
This tunnel that burns,
Situate the city of the sun.
One day! That day! Will come,
When the virgin nature,
Will knock the door of this dusk,
The and only then, our morning shall wake,
To reclaim its break.
Because now, we are still confined
In one place like the lake.
But until then,
This is mystery valley of the blinds.
Hope your mind.
All that you find? .
