Very many people come to church on Sunday
All praising God, its a veritable fun day
Local schools are visited by the pais team
Let us give thanks to the ones who make the kids faces beam
Enjoyment can be had at The Lounge and Big Club
Young people flock there and raid the tuck shop grub

Pastor Dave is in his element preaching to the masses
Encouraging people to join small group Bible classes
No matter who you are, you are welcome in God's house
Toddlers in the creche don't have to be quiet as a mouse
Energy flows and the people sing out loud
Central to church life stands Jesus tall and proud
Open your heart and your wallet to give to the church
Support is given to the needy, no one is left in the lurch
Thank you Lord for listening as we sit and pray
Amen to the fact that you forgive us if we go astray
Lots of tea and coffee is available from noon

Church is such a joy, can't wait to come back soon
Holy Spirit fill us as we wait for the Lord to come
Until that day we have your love, come let's spread some
Rock of ages Jesus stands the test of time
Couples unite and say their vows as wedding bells chime
