Value Poem by Paul Frederick

Value

How move the mountain
It's well the pigeons drift
Peace in shallow diadem
Like the sound harmonica
I didn't ask the shrapnel
Possibility the well
To glue the peaceful for ever
Under my living casket
Does life have value?
Other than Providence shone
The helter quick ambrosias
The momentary sweet anthems
Is it more a glorious clue
From whence I depart for
What they snuffed it short
A villain of the court
But you see no evil
Not eyes of wool
Make value of substance
Instead of happenstance
Then scuttle no more
A brief eyesore
He says poor man
Thy concur Adam
Orchestras of laughter
I don't go against the book
That be betook
A resplendent deja vu
Doing Bel-a-Vue
A place of many wishes
Tighten the breeches
I saw the gallant refrain
And the after glory remain
They say he's going for gold
So the future foretold
Harmless abracadabra
Halloween's disturber
What's the frost?
And being bossed
It will take a quake
Of the sort to partake
A new dispensation
Like a guest nation
Who will blame the credit?
Unmitigated debit
