Vampire Poem by melissa rich

Vampire

i smell fear
that is in the air
around me
blood is pounding
in the veins
of my last victim
he wants to scream
but he knows I'll cause
more pain if he does
even try
he starts to cry
'shut up'
i spat as
i pinch
the extra
skin around his neck
now he starts to whimper
i want to so i do
i rip in to his skin
with my teeth
i take a long
lovely drink
the blood taste sweet
after a while he goes limp
i drain him dead
i dropp his body
i sprinted through
the door way
his house was and
still is a nice place
i stop when i hear a crash
so i look back
it looks like he had
a nice small family
now i hunt for
his wife
