Vampires Poem by deanna buendia

Vampires

As the sun fades away, the night comes to sight
It covers the world like a blanket and unleashes a horror
Those who sleep in day and live at night

Vampires

They creep through the streets looking for prey
Don’t you dare to walk out at night
For they can see you in dark or in light

Vampires

They’ll enter your house and take it away
What, May you ask?
Your riches, your blood, your children and soul
Watch out for these creatures
For they are the sons of evil and the kings of night

Vampires

A single ray of daylight appears
They flee into their tombs and are pleased
For they have gotten a victim to feast on

Vampires

Don’t be so sure they won’t come back
For it is the 3rd man they take
