Peoples, past and present may offend us,
deviating from our chosen canon.
Some of them we classify horrendous;
most of them we'd like to slap a ban on.
Our rigid, puritanical technique
will show no mercy to mistaken views.
We fail to understand that when men seek
the Truth they sometimes misconstrue the clues.
We only tolerate our perfect clones
and fail to grasp we all have much to learn,
refuse to step outside our comfort zones,
those views we do not share we always spurn.
Old men whose flawed opinions we dispute -
unpersons whose existence we refute.
