Victim - Poem by Jane Roberts

Just let me live
I don't want to die.

I'm nice really
Honestly I am.
I can do it
Just give me a chance
Just give me another chance.

Well, just do it right this time.
I'll give you another chance,
But I'm watching you.
I'll know when you've gone wrong again.

Don't hurt me
I'll do it-
Give me the knife
At least it will only hurt for a moment,
Not kill.

Look- I've done it!

See, you've gone.
You are satisfied
For now.

I am a very sad
Little girl
