Victory Poem by Heather Hill

In this victory I still feel like I'm lost
Is it maybe because I am hurting
Hurting so bad that even a win a victorious win doesn't make me smile
Nothing can make me happy anymore

All I want is something that I can never have
Is just to be loved by the world
A victory is wonderful but I need more than that
I need victory in love

I'm tired of wondering around being lost
Lost in these tears
I want to be victorious I want to live my dream
I want to be loved for who I am not because people feel sorry for me

I want a victory a great victory
Where I am living the dream
Where I can be myself
That's when I know that I have a victory
