Virginity Poem by MAHBUBA SHAMA

Virginity

You took off my undergarments
You took away my virginity
Now I am impure according to you
I am not worthy of you

Once you always cuddled my body
Paying for a room for our cozy time
Only after 1 year you forgot me
As if I am no longer ripe

Your thirst was like a volcano
Mine a pond
I filled you with power

You endowed me with song
Hot flashes of seductive eyes
Your body in mine
Now why can't you marry me?
Am I not your wine?
You destroyed my virginity
Now you blame me as impure

I believed in you
But you never trusted me
I am no longer a virgin
I am unchaste
I fully submitted to you
Shouldn't you feel any guilt now?
