Voices Poem by dymon sidebottom

Voices

The voices are here.
Never leaving.
They tell me what to do.
They haunt me.
I put on an act in front of my friends.
Do they hear?
Do they hear them?
Am I alone?
Is this a challenge to which no one can beat?
THe voices will go, and soon be back.
I know more than enough about them.
Their only here when night falls and the lights go off.
THey have been hushed for awhile.
Since I found him and actually knew my friends cared.
But what if I lose them?
I don't even want to think about it.
So I won't.
