Take off these chains
Release me
Set me free

My world is not an open book
You do not need to know it all
You never even should have
Taken a look

Your world
Your business
You attack my world
Bring it down
Continue to do it
And your grin will become a frown

I am not your slave
And my life is not your story book
I’m sorry I ever gave
In to your guilt trip

One day you will see you were wrong
And that day will be the day you’ll see
