Waiting - Poem by Jade lee

Waiting is when you have no control
Waiting is the time out
Waiting is a test of patience
Waiting is about self discovery

One can be restless while waiting
So used to the motions one seize to know stillness
A moment of silence scares them to the core
Really, it’s a moment to relax and revive

Seize the opportunity in waiting
Look deep inside and find yourself
Smell the roses and breath the air
Glimpse is what you’ll get if you dash

Wait for the bad weather to pass
Wait for the opportunity to come
Wait! the world goes round and round
Wait! the runner is now the chaser.
