Waiting For You Poem by Nidhi Jha

Waiting For You

Rating: 3.5

Time just flew by
And I didn't know
How the differences crept in
How my world became silent
And yet I couldn't be silent again.

We lost each other
Amid the rain and snow
Which once were so good
And which made us
The two of us so good.

I couldn't find you again
Even when I looked for you
Trust me I looked
I searched day and night
But you, I lost you.

I gave my hand
Which once you held
Tightly and warmly
But you didn't take it
And I knew I lost you.

They told me I was wronged
But I knew that I wronged
Else it wouldn't have felt so cold
It wouldn't have pained
And I couldn't have lost you.

They say its over
But I don't believe
Something inside me here says
That you will return
And we will live again.

I am waiting
And will always wait
Because something inside says
That you will return
And we will fall in love again.
