Wake The Souls Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Wake The Souls

The words I weave are plain and true,
A simple path for me and you.
No tangled knots of fancy speech,
But truths that heart can gently reach.

I seek to touch the spirit deep,
Where seeds of quiet wonder sleep.
Not dusty doctrines, cold and stark,
But inner light to pierce the dark.

A friend's voice whispers in the lines,
Of faith that strengthens and refines.
To stir your soul, to make you think,
And drink the wisdom at life's brink.

A call to rise, to understand,
The power held within your hand.
Awake, aware, and full of grace,
Find God's embrace in every place.

My lines I write, a gentle plea,
To wake the soul, and truly see.
To ponder faith, and choose to live,
The love we have, the love we give.
