Waking With God (5)

The light of dawn presents it’s grace
Night now sleeps and hides it’s face
Oh day of God what do you bring
Perhaps a time love’s song to sing

Oh great “I am” the morn is here
Has it’s dawn brought me a cheer
Why should I fear or even care
Who has Your love need not despair

To me You are the breath each morn
The warmth of Spring with every dawn
Fresh mountain streams run crystal clear
Oh God, how I love You so dear

Oh precious moments, such as these
Given of God, sent forth to ease
Uncertainties that life yet brings
Through unleashed love, my heart now sings

Allow Your Flame, in me to burn
Your Spirit’s grace that I may learn
To walk with You, my Lord most high
And feel Your presence, ever nigh

Majestic God with golden crown
My heart I lay before You down
Your wondrous love, is so divine
This love my God, that now is mine

I sing You praise with out-stretched arms
With songs, hymns, with beautiful psalms
With truthful heart I cry above
My highest praise through Christ I love

I feel Your Spirit deep within
Purging that true life I’ll win
Though bright the Flame, I feel no pain
Oh, thank You Lord, I’m born again
