Walk Lighter Poem by Ulysses Cabinatan

Walk Lighter

Worries,

bad memories

and negative thoughts

are like rocks and pebbles

you carried in a bag

while hiking on the trail of life.

These heavy burdens slow you down.

So let go of those rocks and pebbles

and replace them

with precious jewels instead.

Move forward with a lighter backpack.
